Since our establishment in 1865, Welsh and Jefferies have been dedicated to providing the residents of Eton High Street and its neighboring areas with exceptional bespoke made-to-measure and handmade tailoring. In 1988, we acquired the esteemed Syd Body and the Weatherill Bros, further strengthening our expertise and craftsmanship. Our talented family and team have meticulously upheld the highest standards, ensuring precision, care, and unparalleled excellence in every garment we create.

Today, Welsh and Jefferies Eton are under the ownership of Tufy Kazan, son of Elie Kazan, with an impressive 23 years of experience at our establishment. Tufy has cultivated a loyal clientele through his expertise in bespoke and made-to-measure tailoring. With his leadership, Welsh and Jefferies Weatherill Bros. Eton forge ahead, embracing the future while upholding the values that have defined us for generations.

 

Made-to-Measure & Handmade Bespoke Tailoring

We specialise in bespoke made-to-measure and handmade tailoring. We’ll guide you through the entire journey, from choosing your cloth, lining and style through to crafting the perfect fit. Our made-to-measure service has a turnaround time of just six weeks, with a maximum of up to ten weeks for an entirely handmade suit.

All of our products are carefully tailored using the very finest of materials. Our superb quality worsted and superfine wool cloth is provided by LBD/Harrisons Hol & Sherry, Dugdales, J. Minnis and Alfred Brown. We also stock a variety of readymade garment brands including Bladen, Magee, Brook Tav, Scotts, Alan Paine, Viyella, Loake’s, Paco Milan, Oakman and more.

We produce a wide range of both 2 and 3 piece suits, blazers (including golf club blazers, college club striped blazers, house blazers and scarves, and rowing crew blazers), sports jackets, tweed suits, dinner suits, zephyrs, overcoats, cords, cotton chinos, trousers, moleskin, knitwear, shoes, shirts and ties, toiletries and other accessories, all available in store. We also specialise in gentleman’s wedding wear, including ready made and hand made bespoke morning tailcoats, striped and houndstooth trousers and exclusively designed waistcoats.

Alterations to any garment purchased with us are carried out on premises by our team of highly experienced tailors.

 

Eton Uniform 

We are proud stockists of the Eton College Uniform and have a fantastic relationship not only with the school, but the parents too. We carry a large stock of sizes all year round, including everything from spare packs of collar studs to specially designed Eton Society (or ‘Pop’) waistcoats.
